Biah Biah: Eat, Pray and FB Ubud, Bali

I am with our new house guests who are staying at our Bali holiday accommodation for this week.  We ventured out to a Balinese warung called Biah Biah.  What is great about it -- is the music is gentle, the service is great and the food is fresh.  Rather than having a set meal I ordered many small things.  I started out with Burbur ayam (chicken rice porridge)  which was nice.  Then I had babi kecap or stir fried pork with sweet and soy sauce for Rp 7,000.  For veggies I ordered Sayur Urab or soy beans, long bean, grated coconut dressed with Balinese spices for Rp 5,000.  Mostly what I ordered were small servings in a bamboo leaf.  So you can try many things.  Sabrina and Ginny,  guests from our villa rental, tried the bream - rice wine with 8% alcohol.
