Iza (our Bali accommodation guest) just emailed us this picture of a lovely dessert - gratis - from the new eatery in Mas.  Our British guest said it was well worth the trip - just 15 minutes by car out of Ubud center to Mas (the village of wood carvings, as ordained by the Ubud King).

Our villa accommodations has a staff driver who can take you to this restaurant or on any trip around the island of the gods!

At about noon our driver will take our villa guests to the center of Ubud (at the corner of the Ubud Market and Monkey Forest at Jalan Raya Ubud) to see the cremation ceremony of more than 65 people.  Because our Ubud Bali accommodation can hold up to 3 adults our guests invited their friend from Kuta to stay over to watch this special religious event.  We reserved a balcony table for them at Kue where they can relax and see the procession.  From what our villa guests have emailed us there are already 22 sacred cows constructed!  And a tower about 12 levels high.  It will be amazing. #bali #ubud

Coming to Ubud Bali is pretty special.  Bali Spirit recently opened a second yoga studio which is fantastic.  So a typical day is going to the barn stretching a lot; then to Kafe for a bit of raw food; shopping for some yoga pants; have a detox drink at bali buddha and then lunch at Soma.  A nap later with dinner at Sopa.  Then repeat daily!  Welcome to Ubud Bali!
